New rates came into effect July 1, 2023 as per By-law No. 1922 passed on June 6, 2023.

Of note in the new by-law is the collection of outstanding accounts:

5.         That the said rates for water service shall form a lien and charge against the land to which water is supplied and shall be entered on the Collector’s Roll when the billing is outstanding past two quarters, to be collected in the same way, as nearly as may be, as municipal taxes are collected.
