The Township appreciates opportunities to offer commemorative certificates for Nipigon residents who are celebrating milestone birthdays and anniversaries.

Birthday Certificates can be requested beginning at age 65, and in increments of five years.

Anniversary Certificates can be requested beginning at the 25th anniversary, and in increments of five years.

Please submit your request at least two weeks prior to the event and one month prior if you wish for the Mayor or his delegate to present the certificate in person.

Notice of Collection

Personal information, as defined in the Municipal Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act, is collected under the authority of the Municipal Act, 2001, and in accordance with Municipal Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act (MFIPPA). Personal information collected on the application form will be used to assist in contacting citizens or organizations who have requested a signed commemorative certificate.
