NOTICE: Take Notice that the collection of garbage normally scheduled to take place on TUESDAY, JULY 1, 2008 will be made on WEDNESDAY, JULY 2, 2008
Please have you containers on the street for collection to commence at 7:00 am
Landfill site will be closed on Tuesday, July 1, 2008
Hours of Operation
- Monday 2:00 to 7:00 p.m.
- Tuesday 12:00 to 4:00 p.m.
- Friday 2:00 to 7:00 p.m.
- Saturday 12:00 to 4:00 p.m.
Garbage collection depending on street address is Tuesday or Friday.
Access is restricted to 15 minutes prior to posted hour of closing.
Gates will be locked on the hour.
Scavenging is prohibited.
Violators may be prosecuted for trespassing.
There is no tipping fee for Nipigon residents/property users on regular household garbage (appropriately bagged).
Tipping fees will be charged for non-regular garbage.
- 1/2 Ton or 3/4 Ton $10.00
- 1/2 load for above size 5.00
- 1T, 3T, Tandem or similar 20.00
- 3 axle, large trailer or similar 30.00
- Small vehicle tires up to 16" 2.00
- All other vehicle tires 5.00
- Old vehicles (scrap) any size 20.00
